Synopsis
An
impassioned
performer
dolefully
recounts
the
death
of
a
beloved
friend,
when
a
cell
phone
rings
in
the
audience.
The
actor
tries
to
preserve,
but
the
ringing
does
not
cease.
When
it
becomes
clear
that
the
owner
of
the
phone
is
not
going
to
silence
it,
the
angered
actor
enters
the
audience,
and
locates
the
purse
that
contains
the
phone,
empties
it
onto
the
stage,
and
stomps
on
the
phone
until
it
will
ring
no
more.
Regaining
composure,
the
actor
restarts
the
monologue,
only
to
once
again
be
interrupted by a cell phone going off in the theatre.
